The creative process
The Material
Created by Selective Laser Sintering. A process used in aerospace and medical engineering.
Scale: true to life, 1:1.
Weight: approx. 1 kg.
Material: biocompatible nylon.
Surface: matte, fine-grained, ceramic-like.
The Process
First, your MRI data is transformed into a digital model.
Selective Laser Sintering turns that digital model into solid matter.
In post-processing, residual nylon is removed, revealing a tactile, textured surface.
The result: your own brain, made tangible.
Small customisations are possible on request. For example, a slot for business cards.
Production & delivery: about 6 weeks from receipt of files.
Files are uploaded via a secure link and deleted after production.
Made in Switzerland.
